Implant
Can I fly right after an extraction or implant surgery?
It is better to avoid flying right after an extraction or implant surgery, because cabin pressure changes can cause pain or bleeding at the surgical site (aerodontalgia). In general we recommend allowing 1) 2 to 3 days after a simple extraction and 2) at least a week after surgery such as an implant or wisdom tooth removal. If you have travel already booked, tell us in advance and we will adjust the treatment schedule.
