Seoul Everyday Dental Hospital (hereinafter referred to as the "Hospital") establishes the following Privacy Policy to protect users' personal information, safeguard their rights, and efficiently address any grievances related to personal information, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act. If any revisions are made to the Privacy Policy, the Clinic will notify users via its website.


1. Categories of Personal Information Collected

The Hospital collects the following personal information for purposes such as membership registration, consultations, service use, and applications:


*Collected Items: Name, ID, password, contact information, email address, service usage records, access logs, cookies, and IP information.

*Collection Methods: Website, written forms, phone, fax, events, consultation boards, emails, survey participation,consultation, etc.


2. Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information

The personal information collected is used for the following purposes:


Verifying identity for service use, preventing fraudulent use by unauthorized users, resolving disputes, handling complaints, providing notices, delivering health-related information, informing users about events and promotions, conducting satisfaction surveys, gathering user opinions, managing memberships, and introducing new services.


3. Retention and Usage Period of Personal Information

The retention and usage period of personal information lasts until the user terminates their membership (including withdrawal).


4. Disposal Procedures and Methods for Personal Information

Once the purpose for collecting and using personal information is fulfilled, the Hospital will immediately dispose of the information following these procedures and methods:


-Disposal Procedures

Information entered for membership registration, etc., is transferred to a separate database (or document storage for paper records) and stored for a designated period as required by internal policies or relevant laws before being destroyed. Personal information transferred to a separate database is not used for purposes other than retention unless required by law.


- Disposal Methods

Electronically stored personal information is deleted using technology that prevents data recovery.


5. Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Hospital will not disclose users' personal information to external entities without consent. Exceptions include:


-When the user has given prior consent.

-When disclosure is required by law or requested by investigative authorities following legal procedures.


6. Delegation of Personal Information Processing

The Hospital does not delegate users' personal information to external service providers without prior consent. 

If such a need arises, users will be notified of the delegation details, including the recipient and purpose, and their consent will be obtained.


7. Users' and Legal Representatives' Rights and How to Exercise Them

Users and legal representatives may at any time access, modify, or delete the personal information of themselves or their children under the age of 14. 

Access or modify personal information by selecting "Edit Personal Information" or "Modify Member Information".

Cancel membership by selecting "Withdraw Membership".

Alternatively, you may contact the Hospital's personal information manager via phone, email, or written request to have your information promptly corrected or deleted.

If you request a correction of errors in your personal information, we will not use or provide the relevant personal information until the correction is completed. Furthermore, if incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, we will promptly notify the third party of the correction request and ensure the correction is made without delay.

The hospital processes personal information that has been terminated or deleted at the request of users or legal representatives in accordance with the retention and usage period specified under “Retention and Use Period of Collected Personal Information.” Such information will be handled to ensure it cannot be accessed or used for any other purpose.


8. Installation, Operation, and Rejection of Automatic Data Collection Devices

The hospital uses cookies, which are small text files sent to your browser by the server used to operate the hospital’s website, to store and retrieve information about your visits to our site. These cookies are stored on your computer’s HOD.

The company uses cookies for the following purposes.

Purpose of Using Cookies
To analyze the frequency of visits and access times of members and non-members, identify user preferences and areas of interest, track user activity, measure participation in various events and visit frequency, and provide targeted marketing and personalized services.

10. Security Measures for Protecting Personal Information

The hospital has implemented multiple security measures to protect user information.

All user information is securely stored and managed within a system protected by a firewall.
To enhance administrative security, access to personal data is restricted, and staff members handling personal information undergo regular security training.
System users are assigned unique passwords that are periodically updated to ensure system security.

11. Notification of Policy Changes

This Privacy Policy was established on September 9, 2024.
In the event of amendments due to changes in laws, policies, or security technology, updates to the Privacy Policy will be announced on the hospital’s website at least 7 days before implementation.

Chapter 1: General Provisions


Article 1: Purpose

These terms aim to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Seoul Everyday Dental Hospital (hereinafter referred to as "Seoul Everyday Dental") and users regarding the use of the internet services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") provided through its website.


Article 2: Effectiveness and Changes to Terms

(1) These terms become effective upon being publicly posted by Seoul Everyday Dental to its users.

(2) Seoul Everyday Dental reserves the right to modify these terms in case of significant business reasons or changes in circumstances. Any changes to the terms will also take effect in the same manner as the original.


Article 3: Compliance with External Regulations

Matters not specified in these terms shall comply with relevant laws and regulations.


Chapter 2: Use of Services


Article 1: Service Usage and Limitations


(1) Service usage is available 24/7 unless technical or operational circumstances prevent it.

(2) Service hours may be restricted with prior notice for system maintenance or operational needs.

(3) Certain services, such as online consultations, may not be available 24/7 due to doctors' availability or consultation schedules.


Article 2: Service Fees


(1) Services are provided free of charge.

(2) If any service becomes chargeable, Seoul Everyday Dental will notify users in advance with details on timing, policies, and costs before implementation.


Chapter 3: Limitation of Service Responsibility


Article 1: Online Consultations


(1) Seoul Everyday Dental makes every effort to ensure that consultation content is not disclosed to third parties except for the consulting doctor and service administrators.

However, the clinic cannot be held responsible for the following:

a. If consultation content is disclosed due to user negligence, such as password leakage.

b. If users delete their own consultation content.

c. If consultation content is lost or disclosed due to circumstances beyond the clinic's control, such as natural disasters.


(2) To provide comprehensive and appropriate responses, primary physicians and specialists may refer to consultation content and responses.


(3) Consultation content, with personal information removed, may be used for the following purposes:

a.Academic research

b. Publications (e.g., printed materials, CDs)

c.FAQs, recommended consultations, or case studies


(4) Responses to consultations are based on individual doctors' expertise and do not represent the official views of Seoul Everyday Dental.


(5) The hospital reserves the right to decline online consultation requests in the following cases:


a. Repeated submissions of identical consultation content

b. Use of inappropriate language in consultation requests

c. Requests for specific diagnoses

d. Requests for pricing information, such as treatment or examination fees


Chapter 4: Obligations


Article 1: Obligations of the Hospital


Seoul Everyday Dental Hospital is committed to ensuring service availability unless exceptional circumstances arise.

The clinic is obligated to provide consistent and reliable services in accordance with these terms.


Article 2: Obligation to Secure User Information

(1) Users are solely responsible for managing their passwords.

(2) Users agree to receive electronic communications, letters, or SMS as part of the service.

(3) Seoul Everyday Dental Hospital will not sell or share personally identifiable information with unrelated third parties without prior user consent.


However, registered information voluntarily provided by users may be utilized in the following cases:

a. To provide developers with information needed for the development of new features, information, or services beneficial to users.

b. To provide statistical data to advertisers (without revealing individual users’ identities).

c. To deliver advertisements or services tailored to user preferences.


(4) Personally identifiable information (such as usernames, IDs, and email addresses) voluntarily shared in community spaces (hereinafter referred to as "Community") may be collected, used, or associated with third parties. This could result in users receiving unwanted messages. Such third-party actions are beyond the control of Seoul Everyday Dental Hospital, and the clinic cannot guarantee against such unauthorized discovery of user information.


(5) Seoul Everyday Dental Hospital may use cookies to enhance user experience. Cookies are small text files used by websites to identify returning users and provide personalized services. Generally, cookies assign a unique number to users and do not intrude into users’ systems or harm files. However, the clinic cannot prevent advertisers or third parties associated with its services from using cookies. If users do not wish to allow cookies, they can adjust their browser settings. However, the proper functioning of the service (especially personalized features) may depend on the use of cookies.

Seoul Everyday Dental Hospital may share or use user information for service purposes or in collaboration with business partners.


Chapter 5: Dispute Resolution


(1) Issues arising from service use that are not specified in these terms should be resolved through mutual agreement to the greatest extent possible.

(2) If legal action is necessary, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the court overseeing the location of Seoul Everyday Dental Hospital.


Supplementary Provisions

These terms take effect on September 9, 2024.
