What should I tell the medical staff before dental treatment?

Yes, there are items you must tell us about so treatment is safe: 1) medical conditions (diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, osteoporosis and so on), 2) medications you take (especially anticoagulants, aspirin, and osteoporosis drugs), 3) whether you are or might be pregnant, 4) any side effects or allergies to anesthetics or medications, and 5) recent surgery or a history of chemotherapy or radiation therapy. This information changes the anesthesia method, the timing of treatment, and what we prescribe. If you cannot remember the names of your medications, bring your prescription or a photo of the packaging.
