How do I floss a bridge (connected teeth)?

Because the teeth in a bridge are joined, you cannot pass ordinary floss down from above - it has to be threaded in from the side. The tools you can use are 1) superfloss, a special floss with a stiff end that slides under the bridge, 2) a floss threader, which carries ordinary floss through, and 3) interdental brushes and a water flosser for cleaning the space beneath the bridge. Food easily collects under the bridge, between the artificial tooth and the gum, and that is where cavities and gum disease begin, so daily cleaning matters.
