If I drop and break my denture, can it be repaired?

Whether a repair is possible depends on where and how badly the denture is broken. 1) When the pink resin base (the gum-colored part) is cracked, repair is usually possible. 2) When part of the metal framework is broken, rejoining metal pieces is difficult, so partial remaking or other more involved methods may be required. Don't lose any of the broken pieces — bringing them all in improves the chance of a successful repair. However, even if the denture looks fine on the outside after being dropped, there may be tiny cracks, so if it feels different to wear, please come in for a check.
