What are the denture cost benefits for Medical Aid recipients?

Medical Aid Type 1 recipients pay 5% of the denture cost, and Type 2 recipients pay 15%. This is significantly less than the 30% copay for regular national health insurance subscribers. For patients aged 65 and older, both complete and partial dentures are covered once every 7 years per arch (under Medical Aid rules).
