Please tell me the precautions after gum treatment.

For 2 to 3 days after gum treatment your gums may swell, bleed, or feel sensitive, and this is a normal part of healing. 1) Do not skip brushing - keep going gently, 2) avoid smoking and alcohol for at least a week, as they slow healing, and 3) choose lukewarm, soft foods over spicy or irritating ones. However, if swelling and pain last more than a week or pus appears, you should come in.
