Please tell me the precautions after root canal treatment.

After root canal treatment, 1) do not eat until the anesthesia wears off (about 2 to 3 hours), and 2) do not chew anything hard with that tooth until the whole treatment is finished - a tooth undergoing root canal treatment fractures easily. 3) If the temporary filling comes out, bacteria can get in and the treatment may have to be redone, so come in right away. Mild discomfort for a few days after treatment is normal, but if a throbbing pain keeps getting worse, please contact us.
