심미/미백
I want a tooth gem. Will it damage my tooth?
When it is bonded at a dental clinic with dental adhesive (resin), there is almost no damage to the tooth, because the enamel is not ground down - only the surface is prepared before bonding. There are things to be careful about, though. 1) Using superglue yourself risks chemical damage and gum irritation. 2) Forcing it off can tear enamel away with it, so removal is also safer at a clinic. 3) Plaque builds up easily around the gem, so brushing needs to be more thorough. After removal we polish away the remaining adhesive to leave the tooth surface smooth.
