What should I be careful about while wearing a temporary tooth?

A temporary tooth is made of a fragile material that protects the tooth until the final restoration is ready, so please follow these points. 1) Avoid sticky foods such as taffy, caramel, and gum, and hard foods. 2) Chew on the other side as much as possible. 3) Pull floss out sideways rather than upward. If the temporary tooth comes off or breaks, do not throw it away - bring it in and it can often be re-attached. However, if it is left off for a long time the teeth can move so that the final restoration no longer fits, so please contact us right away.
