Is the water from the dental chair safe to swallow? Is it clean?

Yes, the water from a dental chair passes through a purification filter, so swallowing a little is harmless. During treatment, though, dust from trimming teeth, saliva, and treatment materials can mix into the water, so we recommend spitting it out where you can. The water in the cup you rinse with is the same filtered water, so you can be reassured. However, if you notice an unusual taste or smell in the water, please tell a staff member right away.
